2nd grade Author Visit with Zetta Elliot

16dec_zettaellison_birdDear 2nd graders and Parents,
We are excited to bring award-winning author Zetta Elliott on Thursday, Dec 7th to speak to our 2nd grade classes.

Please note, this talk is during school hours and is for the students only but we want to let parents know so they can help their kids get familiar with  Zetta’s books before the visit.

Before the visit
We have purchased some copies of Zetta’s book for the classrooms so students can become familiar with her work before the visit. There are also additional copies in the library that students may check out.

To make the most out of Zetta’s visit:16dec_zettaellison_shipofsouls

• Consider checking out Zetta’s books from the school or public library.
• Talk up the visit before the actual date. The more excited the kids are about it, the more they’ll get out of it.

For more information, visit Zetta’s website at zettaelliot.com  If you have any questions or suggestions for this author visit, please contact our school Librarian, Mr Marcus, at adam.marcus@ps32.org

We’re looking forward to a great visit!
