What does academic intervention services look like at P.S.32?
Academic Intervention Support Services are provided during the day, after school and on Saturdays. Any student who is struggling academically is entitled to receive these services. The students are identified in grades 3 to 5 by their New York State test results, teacher recommendation or parental request. In grades K to 2 students are referred by the results of their monthly assessments/end of unit assessments, classroom teacher recommendation, parental request. These services are reassessed every 8 to 12 weeks and adjustments are then made accordingly.
