Back To School 2025

WELCOME BACK!

Updated: 8/27/25

Dear PS32 Community,

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!  We are very excited to have you as part of the PS32 family. We are committed to ensuring that you and your child have a safe, happy, and fulfilling school year.  We want to ensure that the needs of the whole child are being addressed, as our primary goal is to ensure that everyone enjoys all aspects of the school day safely, both academically and emotionally.

As we grow together this year, please don't hesitate to share your questions, concerns, needs, and wishes. There will be scheduled opportunities, by grade, across the school year for you to provide feedback about the structures and systems we have in place. We will also have opportunities (both virtually and in person) to continue working to create the school environment we all desire.  Working together will help your child grow and develop into a global citizen who helps all those they encounter.

This year, we will focus on the H in HAFTA, which stands for honesty. In our ever-changing world, it's essential for us to be honest in our words, actions, and deeds, as our children are always watching and learning from us all.

I look forward to seeing you at our Meet and Greets throughout the day on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 2nd and 3rd. For more back-to-school information, please be sure to check out our Back-to-School Resources below!

I truly look forward to our work together.

All the best,

Denise Watson-Adin
Principal

Upon arrival, all students will greet staff members assigned to each grade level door. After being greeted by a school staff member, students will be permitted into the building to go to their classrooms. PS32 staff members stationed at each entrance are there to support any student who is in need of any assistance. Parents in Pre-K to Grade 5 are not permitted to walk their child(ren) to class. If you have a question for the teacher, please contact them via e-mail. Any parents with general questions can speak with the Main Office staff. Dismissal will occur from the same entrances.

Buttons will be signed for on the first day of school. Each family will receive only two buttons (no exceptions). If a parent/caregiver forgot their button for the day, they must present photo ID to School Safety and sign in.
